Closet for kids

WARDROBE

ONLY FOR KIDS

The demand for used clothing for children is high. Pullovers, T-shirts and trousers are stacked on the shelves in an area of around 20 square meters spread over two rooms; Jackets, shirts and suits hang on the clothes racks. The offer is varied and it should stay that way. That is why the clothes that are simply not taken away are exchanged about every six weeks. These would then go to the old clothes collection of the DRK.

Petra Armbruster and Olga Falkenberg are mainly responsible for the clothing store. The two ladies sort the textiles that have been handed in, put them away and keep the closet in order.

The clothes can be browsed, tried on and taken away free of charge on Wednesdays and Fridays between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. You will find the closet O1st floor of the home for asylum seekers on Alleenstrasse, directly versus the spectrum.

Anyone who would like to hand in clean and well-preserved clothing for children can do so daily from 2.30 p.m. in the Spectrum.
