Those committed to pioneering projects deserve support. That's why dm supported around 3,000 future-oriented projects with donations in May—and your vote counted!

The rankings are final
In each of the more than 2,000 dm stores, two partner projects were able to showcase their commitment. For almost two weeks, customers had the opportunity to vote on whether a project would receive €400 or €600 in funding. This resulted in a total donation of €1,000 per dm store.

You could also cast your vote online for two projects run by long-standing dm partners until May 31st. The winners have now been determined: The Federal Association for Premature Children (Das Frühgeborene Kind) will receive a donation of €10,000. The Climate Station Network of the German Commission for UNESCO is supporting dm with €5,000.


This means that dm is donating a total of over 2.1 million euros to future projects throughout Germany.
From forest kindergartens to youth fire brigade groups, hospital clowns, local chapters of the German Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union (NABU) and the German Child Protection Association, to climate and species protection initiatives, partner projects were present and made their commitment tangible for customers in dm stores. All of these projects and the people involved in them demonstrate the diverse ways in which we can all help shape the world of tomorrow. This makes us excited for the future! Donations will be handed over in dm stores until mid-June.
