CLOTHING ROOM
ONLY FOR KIDS
Demand for used children's clothing is high. In approximately 20 square meters, spread across two rooms, sweaters, T-shirts, and pants are stacked on the shelves; jackets, shirts, and suits hang on the racks. The selection is diverse, and we intend to keep it that way. Therefore, about every six weeks, the clothes that simply aren't taken home are replaced. These are then donated to the German Red Cross's used clothing collection.
Petra Armbruster and Olga Falkenberg are primarily responsible for the clothing room. The two ladies sort the donated textiles, put them away, and keep the room tidy.
You can browse, try on, and take home the clothes for free on Wednesdays and Fridays between 3 and 6 p.m. You will find the clothing store OUpper floor of the asylum seekers' home in Alleenstraße, directly opposite the spectrum.
Anyone who would like to donate clean and well-preserved children's clothing can do so daily from 2:30 p.m. at Spektrum.
