2022 – Staufer Medal
The head of ProKids is the first resident of Schwenningen to receive this exclusive award. The entrepreneur works tirelessly for his foundation. His baby hatch has already saved five young lives.
When he realized that not every family in this country could afford a hot school lunch for their child, Joachim Spitz took action. He collected donations, tied on an apron with the then-mayor, Dr. Rupert Kubon, and cooked spaghetti at the kindergarten. That was almost 15 years ago.
Now, the enterprising Schwenningen businessman has received one of the highest awards of the state of Baden-Württemberg for his commitment – the Staufer Medal.
2017 – Winner of the "Paul Harris Prize"
Since 1957, the Paul Harris Fellows award has been given to individuals who personally donate $1,000 or more to the Foundation, or in whose name the amount is donated, to honor them for their contributions.
With this, we want to acknowledge the sustained support of the Rotary Foundation and its work.
2016 – Winner of "My Good Example – The Award for Committed Companies"
Companies that address current societal challenges with innovative projects and are committed to sustainability and a future-proof society are recognized here.
"My Good Example" is a nationwide award for the social commitment of companies. The competition has been held annually since 2011.
2012 / 2013 / 2014 / 2015 Top 5 – Winner 2013 "LEA SME Award for Social Responsibility in Baden-Württemberg"
Companies headquartered in Baden-Württemberg with a maximum of 500 full-time employees are eligible to apply, provided they are involved in the project together with partners from the third sector (associations, schools, welfare organizations, etc.).
