Teen moms' shared apartment
Target audience:
From pregnancy until the child's third year. One room also allows for the accommodation of an older sibling.
Requirements for admission to the shared apartment:
The shared apartment for teen mothers was developed in 2017. It is located in an apartment in a multi-family building owned by wbg – Wohnbaugesellschaft Villingen-Schwenningen (Villingen-Schwenningen Housing Association).
The offer of the teen mothers' shared accommodation is aimed at pregnant women of legal age and women with infants who cannot remain in their current place of residence due to an emergency situation or who do not have adequate housing available.
Admission to the ProKids mothers' shared apartment is not possible in cases of severe mental impairment, current or past alcohol/drug addiction, and significant deficits in parenting skills.
Residents must be able to live independently and autonomously. Upon moving into the shared accommodation, the women agree to be cared for by a family midwife or family/health and pediatric nurse (FGKiKP), or by another form of outpatient support.
